Classification: IGT: Indicazione Geografica Tipica - Veneto
Wine type: Dry white wine
Grape varieties: 60% white Rondinella, 15% Golden traminer, 15% Kerner, 10% cross Manzoni
Background: during some usual inspections through vineyards, in 1999 I discovered some white toning bunches of vine branches from an old Rondinella grape strain. I was curious and I begun to experiment with the production of strains with perfectly white grapes. Nowadays it is feasible and it’s possible to obtain a part of vineyard with perfect material. Differences from a black Rondinella grape are medium vigour and lighter colour leaves along with grapes that assume a copper colour according to insolation.
Other species of vine chosen: so, not by chance, even complementary species of vine derive from different stubs through crosses. The choice of them has been determined by a personal and subjective idea of equilibrium as well as personality.
