Gambero Rosso’s Native Grape Varieties
The 2002 vintage of Oz, a varietal Oseleta, exhibits superb richness and structure, despite showing no signs of over-ripe grapes. The nose still bears some notes of toasty oak, but followed by generous fragrances of cherry and medlar fruit, and flanked by spicy nuances of black pepper and vanilla. These aromas continue nicely onto the palate, which is deliciously crisp and tangy, with tannins that need more time to integrate.
